Wow! Great dinner. Best place we ate at while visiting Solvang/ santa Ynez. Atmosphere was a rustic romantic ambience. Food was all amazing. Chris, our waitress was phenomenal. Very attentive and charismatic. We will definitely come back. 5 stars for sure. Oh... and the chicken liver with dijon was sooooo good!

Dinner at Ellie’s tonight was so good! I had the grilled salmon. It was perfectly done, perfectly seasoned, fresh and delicious. The chopped salad is elegant and could easily be a meal on its own. The bread pudding was different from what I’ve had at other restaurants but was very good. I highly recommend Ellie’s for ambiance, service and wonderful food.

This is a very special place. The meal was absolutely fantastic! The pork chop was the best I’ve ever had. There is an area where the owner cooks right in the middle of the room. You can tell there is a lot of love and intention put into the food. It wasn’t just a meal, it was an experience. The decor was beautiful as well. I can’t say enough good things. I will absolutely be back

Outstanding all around! From the food to the service to the ambiance everything was wonderful! I had the beef tenderloin which melted in my mouth! My daughter had the roasted half chicken which was moist and juicy! We both started with the tomato soup which was hands down the best we’ve ever had! Our deserts were equally as scrumptious! We went on a Wednesday and our glasses of wine were only 10 - nice! I would definitely return next time I’m in the Santa Ynez valley! I highly recommend Ellie’s Tap and Vine! Cheers!

This place is so cozy and romantic! Love the vibe! I came here for the first time with my husband on our weekend get away at solvang and this place is exactly what we want. Service : Friendly and awesome! All of them even they are not my server and I just walked by,They are so polite. Food : We got an Artichoke Dip with bread and it’s my first time for Artichoke and I’m impress! It’s soooo yummy. My husband got a Pork Chop and It was really really really good! So flavorful with seasoning and the sauce.By the way,The mash that come with it was one of the most well seasoning mash potato We have ever had. I got a mussels in Asian style coconut milk broth.It was good! But I am Asian,So for my Asian test I think it could be a little less lime juice and add a little touch of salt or fish sauce or soy sauce to it,It would be perfect but that’s just my personal preference.Would I order it again? I sure would! It’s still a good dish. Last but not least was the Chocolate Mousse.The whipped cream was great! And the mousse itself sure did not disappointed! It’s not a soft creamy mousse if that’s what you expect but the texture it’s like an ice cream and that’s what I like! Next time coming to Solvang,Are we coming back here?! That would be our first choice for our dinner! We love this place!

We went with a large group, and they easily accommodated us. They have a great prefix dinner selection at Great Price. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Pork chops were amazing. Salads delicious. Roasted chicken was very good. Definitely recommended.

What a sweet find! Everything from decor, delicious food and options, wine list, ambience, and views. This is a must to check out! The owner and chef made a special point to chat and serve our dinner. A homey, comfortable, and yummie dinner out! We highly recommend it. We had the halibut cooked to perfection and the roasted chicken, moist and flavorful. A delightful night out in every way possible way!
